Visualize Your State’s Financial Collapse

Too bad wishing away local and state financial collapse doesn’t work quite as well as it does at the Federal level.
Thanks to zerohedge for the reference and to the Associated Press for creating this interactive chart that nicely displays unemployment, foreclosures, bankruptcies, and a composite “stress index”, by county and state. Don’t forget to hit the “play” bar at the bottom and the time scaling function at the top right (monthly rate vs change, annual).
Remember, only the “finest” trends start in the West and move East.

US: Crumbling empire

From RTAmerica, (ht tip to Vatic Project):
October 22, 2010

The US has long prided itself on being an exceptional nation, a City Upon Hill and a beacon of democracy and progress the world over. Yet in education, healthcare and finance, the US is falling behind other developed and developing nations.

Last week the US slipped to 49th place in terms of life expectancy, and ranks dead last among developed nations in terms of child well-being. Long dedicated to cultivating an educated, highly skilled workforce, the US is now behind Russia and South Korea in the number of citizens with Bachelor's degrees. So can the empire simply be in the eye of the beholder, or do Americans need to confront the harsh statistics about their lone superpower.

It's a perfect storm. And I'm not talking about the impending dangers
facing Democrats. I'm talking about the dangers facing our democracy.

First, income in America is now more concentrated in fewer hands than
it's been in eighty years. Almost a quarter of total income generated
in the United States is going to the top one percent of Americans.

The top one-tenth of one percent of Americans now earn as much as the
bottom 120 million of us.

Who are these people? With the exception of a few entrepreneurs like
Bill Gates, they're top executives of big corporations and Wall Street,
hedge-fund managers, and private equity managers. They include the Koch
brothers, whose wealth increased by billions last year, and who are now
funding tea party candidates across the nation.

Which gets us to the second part of the perfect storm. A relatively few
Americans are buying our democracy as never before. And they're doing
it completely in secret.

Hundreds of millions of dollars are pouring into advertisements for and
against candidates -without a trace of where the dollars are coming
from. They're laundered through a handful of groups. Fred Malek, whom
you may remember as deputy director of Richard Nixon's notorious
Committee to Reelect the President (dubbed Creep in the Watergate
scandal), is running one of them. Republican operative Karl Rove runs
another. The US Chamber of Commerce, a third.

The Supreme Court's Citizens United versus the Federal Election
Commission made it possible. The Federal Election Commission says only
32 percent of groups paying for election ads are disclosing the names
of their donors. By comparison, in the 2006 midterm, 97 percent
disclosed; in 2008, almost half disclosed.

We're back to the late 19th century when the lackeys of robber barons
literally deposited sacks of cash on the desks of friendly legislators.
The public never knew who was bribing whom.

Just before it recessed the House passed a bill that would require that
the names of all such donors be publicly disclosed. But it couldn't get
through the Senate. Every Republican voted against it. (To see how far
the GOP has come, nearly ten years ago campaign disclosure was
supported by 48 of 54 Republican senators.)

Here's the third part of the perfect storm. Most Americans are in
trouble. Their jobs, incomes, savings, and even homes are on the line.
They need a government that's working for them, not for the privileged
and the powerful.

Yet their state and local taxes are rising. And their services are
being cut. Teachers and firefighters are being laid off. The roads and
bridges they count on are crumbling, pipelines are leaking, schools are
dilapidated, and public libraries are being shut.

There's no jobs bill to speak of. No WPA to hire those who can't find
jobs in the private sector. Unemployment insurance doesn't reach half
of the unemployed.

Washington says nothing can be done. There's no money left.

No money? The marginal income tax rate on the very rich is the lowest
it's been in more than eighty years. Under President Dwight Eisenhower
(who no one would have accused of being a radical) it was 91 percent.
Now it's 36 percent. Congress is even fighting over whether to end the
temporary Bush tax cut for the rich and return them to the Clinton top
tax of 39 percent.

Much of the income of the highest earners is treated as capital gains,
anyway - subject to a fifteen percent tax. The typical hedge-fund and
private-equity manager paid only seventeen percent last year. Their
earnings were not exactly modest. The top fifteen hedge-fund managers
earned an average of $1 billion.

Congress won't even return to the estate tax in place during the
Clinton administration - which applied only to those in the top two
percent of incomes.

It won't limit the tax deductions of the very rich, which include
interest payments on multi-million dollar mortgages. (Yet Wall Street
refuses to allow homeowners who can't meet mortgage payments to include
their primary residence in personal bankruptcy.)

There's plenty of money to help stranded Americans, just not the
political will to raise it. And at the rate secret money is flooding
our political system, even less political will in the future.

The perfect storm: An unprecedented concentration of income and wealth
at the top; a record amount of secret money flooding our democracy; and
a public becoming increasingly angry and cynical about a government
that's raising its taxes, reducing its services, and unable to get it
back to work.

We're losing our democracy to a different system. It's called

Southern Poverty Law Center Fighting Hate for Profit and Power: the SPLC’s Political Agenda Up Close

From Iraqwar:

There is no more negotiating when it is the “peacemakers” who commit acts of war. Southern Poverty Law Center Fighting Hate for Profit and Power: the SPLC’s Political Agenda Up Close

(During what must now be described as a protracted war between the major parties, these few remaining days before the 2010 elections have buried American voters beneath a mountain of epithets, smears, slander, and all around hatred; especially towards the pro-Constitutionalist right by the “open-minded”, “peace-loving” Democrats. All stops have been pulled by the controlled mainstream media and the Democrats to divide and pit American citizens against one another. They incite and hide hate crimes against White people. There is no more negotiating when it is the “peacemakers” who commit acts of war.

The favorite slander used by the Democrats for anyone they disagree with is “extremist”; yet there is hardly any people more politically extreme than the Southern Poverty Law Center, now part of Homeland Security. The SPLC was co-created by the apparent psychopath (look up the word), Morris Seligman Dees–a pedophile, adulterer, liar, and an emotionally blackmailing homoerotic wife beater. He is described as “a sexual psychopath and an emotional terrorist” and “an emotionally destroying monster”. Perfect for carrying out the SPLC agenda. His use of epithets emerged in childhood in spite of his own father’s principles against mistreating others. To this day, Dees and the rest of the SPLC not only use epithets and emotional blackmail against the people they hate, but profit from it. The following article is from the magazine, The Social Contract, and their entire Spring 2010 issue is dedicated to the exposition of the “smear-mongering agenda of the Southern Poverty Law Center.” –Admin)

Issue theme: “The Southern Poverty Law Center – A Special Report”

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) recalls an observation about the Holy Roman Empire, i.e., it was neither holy, nor Roman, nor an empire. Aside from its location in Alabama, the SPLC is about as southern as William Tecumseh Sherman. It has little to do with assisting poor people and much to do with enriching its already well-heeled directors. And as for law, its strident advocacy on behalf of illegal aliens suggests that the rule of law is not exactly one of its top priorities.

The SPLC’s founder is lawyer Morris Dees. When he began his career his business partner, Millard Fuller, remarked, “Morris and I … shared the overriding purpose of making a lot of money. We were not particular about how we did it….”1 In 1961 Morris earned cash by doing some legal work for the Ku Klux Klan.2 Shortly thereafter, he claims, he had a conversion experience against racial prejudice. Even so, he did not start the SPLC until 1971, when, as many observers have noted, it was clear which side had won the civil rights struggle.

With Dees’ tireless self-promotion, the SPLC’s influence and fundraising capacities grew considerably. Its modus operandi was scaring little old liberals into thinking that Klansmen were lurking under every bed and bed sheet, and then pitching them for money. And the money kept on coming, even into the nineties, even when it became obvious to most folks that the Klan was a spent force of marginalized ne’er-do-wells often led by government informants.

After the SPLC set up operation in Montgomery, Alabama, it had a friendly relationship with the staff of the local newspaper The Montgomery Advertiser. “We parroted their press releases,” said Jim Tharp, the editor of the Advertiser. In time, however, Tharpe and others found that “things were amiss” at the SPLC, which led to an investigative series of articles.3 The Advertiser’s research found that the SPLC had amassed a huge amount of money using, in some cases, what Tharpe described as “questionable fundraising tactics.”4

“There was another problem,” said Tharpe, “with black employees at what was the nation’s richest civil rights organization…. Twelve out of 13 black current and former employees we contacted cited racism at the center, which was a shocker to me.”5 Perhaps Dees’ conversion from Klan shystering to civil rights wasn’t as complete as he had led people to believe.

Despite the SPLC’s “questionable” activities, many news outlets report its press releases, particularly about the numbers of alleged “hate groups,” as if they were gospel. One who doesn’t share this faith is Laird Wilcox, a respected researcher of left and right extremist groups. As a veteran of the civil rights movement and a member of the ACLU, one can’t easily dismiss him as a right-wing apologist.

Commenting on an incident where the SPLC claimed that a town in Kansas harbored a “hate group” of Klansmen, because someone rented a post office box there for a bogus Klan group, Wilcox observed,
This was pure disinformation and an example of the terrible things the SPLC does in the campaign to keep the money rolling in from frightening liberals and blacks. Several years ago with minimal effort I went through a list of 800-plus “hate groups” published by the SPLC and determined that over half of them were either non-existent, existed in name only, or were inactive.6

Confirming Wilcox’s assessment are those fairly rare occasions when reporters, instead of taking SPLC claims at face value, actually research them. In 2002, the Cleveland Scene did an investigative report on the claim published by the Cleveland Plain Dealer that Ohio had become a “stomping ground” of hate groups. It cited an estimate of 73 groups by the Center for New Community and 40 groups by the SPLC.

The Cleveland Scene concluded that, “while a few groups on the monitors’ lists warrant attention, most have dissolved or amount to little more than a guy with a copy of Mein Kampf and a yahoo! account.” The report quoted Ted Almay, the superintendent of Ohio’s Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation, who said, “I don’t think there are 73 people in Ohio, let alone 73 groups.”7

In 2007, the SPLC claimed that there was an active chapter of the Ku Klux Klan in Rutland, Vermont. But an investigative reporter for the Rutland Herald found no confirmation of this claim after checking with local law enforcement and civil rights groups. SPLC spokesman Mark Potok countered, in the Herald, “that just because the Klan, which refers to itself as the ‘invisible army,’ can’t be seen, that doesn’t mean it isn’t there.”8 Potok did not explain how he and the SPLC acquired the clairvoyance to see the unseen.

Just as problematic as the SPLC’s counting of hate groups is how it defines hate groups. To be sure, many of the organizations it so describes are malicious and disreputable. But since the mid-1990s or so, the SPLC has ventured beyond its obsession with dwindling bands of cross burners and nightriders. One reason, quite likely, was cash flow. It was just getting harder and harder to scare contributors with Klan tales and convince potential contributors that a tiny cluster of white-robed villains threatens America’s national security. A new “menace” had to be found.
It’s a mistake, however, to think that money is the only thing, or even the main thing, that motivates the SPLC. As revealed by its focus and rhetoric, that mutation of classical Marxism known as “political correctness” is a primary engine of the organization’s zeal. Its bias is unmistakable; on the SPLC’s website is a section called “Hate Watch,” which carries the caption “Keeping an Eye on the Radical Right.” No mention there of the radical left.

And as far as the SPLC is concerned, it seems, just about any person or group to the right of the late Ted Kennedy is radical right. This is the new menace. Part of it, according to the SPLC, is the immigration control movement. The major groups in the movement, says SPLC, are either “hate groups” or groups compromised by their ties to “haters” and “racists.”

Interestingly, the hatred and racism charged to these groups seldom if ever involve anything they have said or done as official policy. All publicly deplore violence against immigrants, legal and illegal. None use insulting racial language; they have multi-racial memberships, and they affirm commitment to racial harmony, by stating that the “diversity” brought about by excessive immigration increases division and misunderstanding.

All that means nothing to the SPLC. It concedes no gradations or subtleties in its accusations. An organization like the liberal and environmentalist Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) is just as much a “hate group” as any Death’s Head Aryan Militia in the backwoods of Idaho. To make its case against the immigration control movement, the SPLC cites alleged links and ties of restrictionists, a tangled web of conspiracy theories and ad hominem attacks.
Against immigration restriction “haters” the SPLC has declared total war. Mark Potok vowed “to destroy, completely destroy them”—an odd goal indeed for an organization dedicated, in its own words, to “teaching tolerance.”9 This scorched earth rhetoric recalls the propaganda strategy of Soviet dictator I.V Lenin: “We …must write in a language which sows among the masses hate, revulsion and scorn … toward those who disagree with us.” Perhaps Mr. Potok knows something of that Soviet leader. He once did a congenial interview with the Socialist Workers Party, which, on its website, endorses the goals of Marx and Lenin.10

While bashing restrictionists, the SPLC gives a free pass to pro-immigration groups, no matter how blatant their racial and hateful agendas may be. Take, for example, the National Council of La Raza (the Race), an alleged “civil rights” group, which the SPLC endorses.11 La Raza labors endlessly to reward illegal immigrants with amnesty and other benefits while fighting any measure to enforce immigration law.

What this has to do with civil rights is anyone’s guess. The black civil rights movement, whose mantle La Raza wishes to claim, stressed the importance of citizenship and the rule of law. La Raza belittles both, in pursuit of its apparent goal of building numbers and racial clout for Hispanics at the expense of other Americans. The name of the organization says it all, despite its absurd claim that La Raza doesn’t really mean “The Race.” Any legitimate Spanish-English dictionary will lay that evasion to rest.

Despite its name, La Raza claims respectability, and the press generally takes that at face value. But if the media bothered to probe any further, they would find that La Raza funds Hispanic separatist charter schools, and on at least one occasion it funded a branch of MEChA, a Spanish acronym meaning the Chicano Students of Aztlan.12 Aztlan is the territory, comprising our southwestern states, that Hispanic separatists want as a country of their own.

John Leo, a columnist for U.S. News and World Report, had this to say about MEChA:
A MEChA…slogan translates as “For the race everything. For those outside the race, nothing.” El Plan de Aztlan, a founding document carried now on many MEChA Internet websites, talks of the need to reclaim the Southwest (Aztlan) from “the occupying forces of the oppressor.” As if the Nazi-like call to the power of the blood is not scary enough, Miguel Perez Cal State MEChA raised the issue of ethnic cleansing. Once Aztlan has been taken over, he said, non-Chicanos “would have to be expelled” and opposition groups quashed “because you have to keep the power.”13
To the question of why SPLC does not list MEChA as a hate group, Potok stated,
We have not listed MEChA as a hate group because, despite…characterization of it as “a hard-left Hispanic group,” we have found no evidence to support charges that the organization is racist or anti-Semitic.14
Though able to see the invisible, he seems to miss the obvious.
Supporting racialism (at least for one color) seems an odd thing for an organization that professes to oppose it. Strange too is an organization supporting mass immigration when its name suggests concern for poor people. If the SPLC truly cares about impoverished black and Hispanic citizens, as it claims to, why does it support a policy that drives down their wages and keeps them ghettoized? And the effect is the same on immigrants themselves if their numbers prevent assimilation and upward mobility.

Why would a supposed “civil rights” group pursue policies that undermine the law and promote creation of a growing and alienated underclass? Perhaps the answer is that this is no accident, but actually, despite its professions, the real intent of the SPLC. In his book, Importing Revolution, former congressional staffer William Hawkins solidly documents that the radical left in America has a passionate interest in immigration, but not for the sake of immigrants.
The goal is to import masses of immigrants and use them as a socio-political battering ram against existing society. The resulting upheaval and chaos, the radicals hope, will provide them with opportunities to seize power. Certainly a key to success is to demonize opponents so that the real aims remain hidden. In revolutionary Russia, Lenin and Stalin used words like “class enemy” and “kulak” to discredit their foes. Today the radicals employ words like “racist,” “hater,” and “xenophobe” for the same purpose.

In a free society, the SPLC and similar groups have the right to say what they want. But they don’t seem inclined to uphold that right for others. One of the SPLC’s most questionable activities is trying to incriminate groups it doesn’t like with law enforcement agencies, even when those groups are not breaking any laws. Each quarter it sends out its “Intelligence Report,” to local, state, and federal police with shrill and lurid commentary about “hate groups.”15 The SPLC tries to equate “hate” with hate crimes, and evidently hopes that police will do the same.
Liberal activist Barbara Dority commented that
the SPLC campaigns for laws that will effectively deny free speech and free association to certain groups of Americans on the basis of their beliefs…. The Center reports its findings to over 6,000 law enforcement agencies; then with no discernible irony, it goes on to justify its Big Brother methods in the name of tolerance….16
Randall Williams, a former SPLC employee, described his experience with the organization, “We were sharing information with the FBI, the police, undercover agents. Instead of defending clients and victims, we were more of a super snoop organization, an arm of law enforcement.”17

The SPLC’s interest in law enforcement is most ironic, given its efforts to undercut the rule of law with respect to immigration. Ironic too, in this regard, is the endorsement of an unrepentant terrorist by SPLC’s spin-off group, The person in question is Bill Ayers (yes, the same one who’s President Obama’s friend). According to, Ayers has “a rich vision of teaching that interweaves passion, responsibility and self-reflection.”18
This is the same man who admitted planting bombs to protest the Vietnam War. He avoided prosecution only because of legal technicalities. In an interview with The New York Times in 2001, he stated, “I don’t regret setting the bombs. I feel we didn’t do enough.”19 Ayers and his radical companions, according to FBI informant Larry Grathwohl, planned for a communist revolution which, in their estimate, required the extermination of 25 million Americans.20 Tolerance indeed.

As the SPLC aims to work with police, one wonders for what ultimate purpose. Perhaps a police state? From psychology we learn of the tactic of “projection,” whereby one who obsessively accuses others of faults is often himself far more guilty of those vices. When an organization proclaims its mission to “destroy, completely destroy” opponents, men of goodwill should inquire into the character and depth of its own hatred.

U.N Tricks and Treaties

Cassandra Anderson

The United Nations has ensnared the world in voluntary treaties intended to become mandatory later, tricking politicians and the public.  The treaties may be vague and open to interpretation over time, using a tactic known as 'incrementalism'.  These treaties affect many branches of government.  The treaties are designed to deindustrialize and economically break nations, restrict energy resources (especially for electricity and transportation) and implement taxation schemes based on manipulated science from the UN (the EPA has authority to implement Cap-and-Trade).

Agenda 21 Sustainable Development was introduced at the 1992 Earth Summit; it is not a treaty but uses treaties as a tool to implement its action plan for depopulation and total control.   Michael Shaw has described Agenda 21 as the head of a monster whose tentacles have infiltrated all levels of government, affecting almost all areas of life, and he says that if you take out the head of the monster (Agenda 21), its tentacles will wither.

The UN avoids using the word 'treaty'.  Most people understand that treaties erode national sovereignty and power.  Voluntary treaties can be used to slide a foot in the door in order to trample sovereignty later through mandatory regulations.

Conventions, Protocols, Agreements, Covenants and Accords take the form of a treaty, which may be binding international legal instruments or may become binding later when negotiations are completed.

An Initiative is a type of referendum in which a proposal is placed on the ballot by way of petition.
A Declaration does not have any legal power to enforce compliance but relies on the moral weight it carries.

UNFCCC: UN Framework Convention on Climate Change is a voluntary treaty ratified by the US in 1992 following the Earth Summit; no limits were set for greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, but the treaty provided for updates (protocols) to set mandatory limits.

The Kyoto Protocol is an amendment to the UNFCCC which is legally binding but the US never ratified this treaty.  The Kyoto Protocol expires in 2012, hence the push to ratify it, or a similar treaty like the Copenhagen Accord.

According to Richard Courtney's article (May 1999) the real danger of global warming is the extreme response that politicians have had to imaginary global warming.  Courtney says that the theory of global warming was developed during the Industrial Revolution in the 1880's, but remained relatively obscure until 1979 when Margaret Thatcher became the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

Courtney's article explains that Thatcher desired respect and followed the advice of Sir Crispin Tickell, depopulation advocate and UK ambassador to the UN.  He pointed out that she could gain international credibility if she promoted the global warming (GW) deception because most politicians are scientifically illiterate (Thatcher holds an undergraduate degree in chemistry).  The benefits to the Thatcher Administration GW policies were:

• GW fear was used to weaken US power- if all other countries enacted carbon taxes and industrial reductions they could pressure and gain benefit over the US.
• Thatcher belonged to the Conservative Party that held a grudge against the National Union of Mineworkers who were blamed for the Party's prior defeats, so GW provided an excuse shut down many coal mines and eliminate the miners' political power.
• Nuclear energy emits no carbon dioxide (CO2), and many coal plants were replaced with nuclear power plants.  Nuclear power, which presents its own risks, was 4 times as expensive as coal-fired electricity.
• The new nuclear power plants were necessary to produce nuclear weapons.

Thatcher established the Hadley Centre for Climate Prediction and Research, the operating agency for the UN IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change).   Hadley is located at East Anglia University, the focal point of the 'Climategate' scandal.

by Gordon Duff, VeteransToday, October 23, 2010

By Gordon Duff STAFF WRITER/Senior Editor
The new Wikileaks claims the US undereported by 15,000, the deaths of Iraqi “civilians.”  With the numbers listed by the military as little as 10% or less of the actual deaths, bumping up the numbers must be a joke.  More leaks about torture and killings, Iraqi torture and the US “looking away?”  More idiocy.  With the US sending “suspects” around the world on rendition flights, sent to secret prisons and obvious to anyone with a brain, to shallow graves, this Wikileak is simply another sideshow, more “chickenfeed.”
Things have already come apart in Iraq.  Why leak this now?  Regular news stories are actually going much further than these “leaks.”  It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see the agenda here, an agenda with absolutely nothing to do with enlightening the world.
What does it prove, any of it?  For sure, we see one thing.  Everything leaked is carefully screened to have nothing of real value.  With Mossad running around Mosul, operating out of Erbil, supplying and advising the terrorist PKK, not a word is mentioned.  Instead, poor Iranians are swimming the Euphrates with explosives strapped to their chests.
Get real.
Thousands of tons of explosives were “mislaid” in Iraq.  The US failed to secure Saddam’s weapons depots which were looted.  These stockpiles were vast.  The idea that anyone would need to bring weapons into Iraq is insane, simply another Israeli ploy to pre-stage an attack on Iran.  Any fool can see this in seconds.

In fact, there are more assault rifles in Iraq than people.

While trying to blame Iran, is Wikileaks reporting the hundreds of thousands of weapons bought by the US that simply disappeared in Iraq?  It is easier to buy an assault rifle or RPG in Iraq than to get potato chips.  This need to blame Iran, the idea that “secret agents” are smuggling ordnance into Iraq, a country loaded with explosives, is insane.  Who would believe it?  The idiotic controlled press?
What will we see if we watch the stories coming out?  Where will the press be told to manipulate the public to look?

“Iran’s Training for Iraqi Militants Outlined in Leaked Pentagon Documents”

Bloomberg and The Guardian start the ball rolling.  Imagine Iraq, a country with the 3rd largest military force in the world, needing “trainers” from Iran.  Iraq with its elite Republican Guard and one million man army has more people with military training that Britain, a fact The Guardian seems oblivious to.  One minute, Iraq is building nuclear weapons and threatening the region with SCUD missiles, the next it is having to turn to “Iranian experts” to build pipe bombs.  Has any nation ever suffered such a case of collective amnesia in the area of weapons technology before?
As the days pass, we can expect more and more fanciful accounts of Iranian spies, trainers, kidnappers and terrorists, each story more sensational and fictitious than the last.
There is a more insidious aspect to Wikleaks.  Through representing itself as “anti-war” and “public spirited,” it carries forward a globalist agenda, promoting war, promoting regional strife, coincidentally all directly tied to Israel’s “hit list,”  the nations Israel openly advocates someone else destroys.
One could easily describe Wikileaks as a Mossad PsyOp.
Thus, Wikileaks is very effective in derailing genuine dialog and meaningful dissent.
Americans proved long ago that they were immune to guilt about torture and killing.  In fact, polls show that the more religious an American, the more willing they are to accept brutality, and few countries are as “religious’ as America.  No other country in recent times as killed as many people as America, even overshadowing the ethnic cleansing in Rwanda and Bosnia or the “situation” in Israel.
As with the earlier “leak,” Wikileaks has the ability to go through hundreds of thousands of pages of documents, carefully eliminating any blackmarket dealings, drug running or, as with Iraq, the massive corruption and theft of oil.

There are dozens of subjects that seem to be carefully screened from any Wikileak.  Even the Department of Defense, not so secretly, thanks Wikileaks for holding back really embarrassing information.  “Held back” information is, of course, blackmail.

Who is Wikileaks?

Is Wikileaks Israel?

Only Israel has the penetration of the Department of Defense that would allow this kind of spying.  Not only can they do it, they also have so many spies in the American chain of command, they could easily prevent it.  Who has the facilities to gather and filter this much data?  Who would want to?
With the biggest story in Iraq the falsified intelligence on “weapons of mass destruction,” why didn’t Wikileaks get us documents on this?  We know that the military had orders to try to falsify documents showing that they found fully operating nuclear, biological and chemical warfare facilities.  These would have made good reading along with the thousands of pages of reports about how these stories would be fabricated.  Even the “controlled press” wouldn’t touch them although they are still out there.
The lies.
Exposing this real Iraq scandal would so some good, except for one thing, friends of Israel inside the Pentagon were the creators of this program.  Is this why Wikileaks dodges the real issues?  Is it because the trail for much of what happened in Iraq heads directly to Tel Aviv?
Who even cares about Iraq this many years later?
Look at the watered down reports about American support of Al Qaeda.  The US is blamed for accidentally helping Al Qaeda by organizing the Sons of Iraq.  In truth, the US actually reorganized the Baathists, something far worse than the imaginary construct “Al Qaeda.”  Not a word is said about this.
One of the biggest scams of the Iraq “experience” was the looting of oil resources.  Most easily verified is the theft of oil from the Kirkuk fields through the Kirkuk/Ceyhan pipeline, which goes to the Mediterranean through Turkey.  Ships that load oil are shown on locator sights run by insurance companies and even the US Coast Guard.  Their tonnage is available, how many ships, how long.  When doing the math, how much oil is loaded compared to how much is paid for, billions and billions of dollars of oil is missing.
When Americans were paying $4 a gallon for gas, how many knew the oil that made the gasoline was “free” to the oil companies?  Who spit the take on this?  Who was paid?  How much was stolen through Basra?  Were the British involved?
Then we have Fallujah.  We are told America “carpet bombed” civilians and “ethnically cleansed” the area, as we are now informed, for no reason.  The version the Army told is being debunked along with the phony stories of the “embedded” press.  Nothing on this hit Wikileaks either.
We are also noting high levels of radiation there and a health crisis that can only be described as shocking.  Where is wikileaks on this REAL story?
There is little doubt that Wikileaks is a “sideshow’ run by an intelligence agency with dozens of agents inside the Department of Defense.  Only Israel has this capability, having penetrated Defense to such a degree they run it as their own.  What is the agenda of Wikileaks?  Is it revealing the truth?  If so, why is the truth censored and watered down to such a degree as to be “non-news” as the earlier leak had been.  In fact, most stories about leaks are simply speculation and most “leaks” are little than “chickenfeed.”
The last leak was an attack on Pakistan.  Wikileaks tried to make a case for Pakistan running the Taliban in Afghanistan.  However, the Taliban are Pashtun and don’t care much for Pakistan, they are “blood enemies.”  Because of this, Israel and India have found them useful allies against Pakistan, the only Islamic nuclear power.  Aid of all kinds gets to the Taliban from the Mossad and RAW, something Wikileaks worked hard to keep secret.

Real leaks by former FBI translator Sibel Edmonds proved that documents exist showing that rendition flights were used to ferry terrorists around, move drugs and tons of cash.  With bales of cash leaving Afghanistan every day, why is it that not one page, not one word of any of this, things we know are in American files, hit Wikileaks?

Why does Wikileaks spend more time hiding things than revealing them?  When the story dies down, are the Julian Assange rape allegations going to be dragged out again to give the story more play?  Last time they “double dipped” on that one, first charges, then no charges, then charges.  It was like a badly written “soap opera.”  We have just received reports of Julian Assange fleeing Pentagon death squads.  We are told he has virtually disappeared off the face of the planet.  We also have a schedule of public appearances and interviews for Assange, who will mysteriously re-materialize when needed.  Ah, to have powers such as those.
What about this new “leak?”
This one may be aimed at Iran.
Anyone surprised or shocked to find that Iraqi security forces killed or tortured people is living on their own private planet.  These were Saddam’s killers and torturers first.  Then they became ours.  What do killers and torturers do?
There was one reason for the invasion of Iraq with all the lies, all the killing, all the corruption.  Israel wanted Iraq destroyed.  Will Wikileaks ever get to something real?

this is fairly basic stuff, and i’m surprised no-one has picked up on it so far
from assange’s wiki page.
“Assange’s parents ran a touring theatre company. In 1979, his mother remarried to a musician who belonged to a cult led by Anne Hamilton-Byrne. The new couple had a son, but broke up in 1982 and engaged in a custody struggle for his half-brother. His mother then took both children into hiding for the next five years. Assange left home in 1987.”
wiki on Anne Hamilton-Byrne
“The Santiniketan Park Association, also known as The Family and The Great White Brotherhood, is a controversial New Age group formed in Australia under the leadership of the Yoga teacher Anne Hamilton-Byrne.”
Now for the kicker..
“During the late 1960s and 1970s Newhaven Hospital in Kew was a private psychiatric hospital owned and managed by Marion Villimek, a Santiniketan member; many of its staff and attending psychiatrists were also members.[4][5][6]
Many patients at Newhaven were treated with the hallucinogenic drug LSD.[7] The hospital was used to recruit potential new members from among the patients, and also to administer LSD to members under the direction of the Santiniketan psychiatrists Dr John Mackay and Dr Howard Whitaker.[8] One of the original members of the Association was given LSD, electroconvulsive therapy and two leucotomies during the late 1960s.[9]
Although the psychiatric hospital had been closed down by 1992, in that year a new inquest was ordered into the death of a Newhaven patient in 1975 after new claims that his death had been due to deep sleep therapy. The inquest heard evidence concerning the use of electroconvulsive therapy, LSD and other practices at Newhaven ”
Anne Hamilton-Byrne acquired fourteen infants and young children between about 1968 and 1975. Some were the natural children of Santiniketan members, others had been obtained through irregular adoptions arranged by lawyers, doctors and social workers within the group who could bypass the normal processes. The children’s identities were changed using false birth certificates or deed poll, all being given the surname ‘Hamilton-Byrne’ and dressed alike even to the extent of their hair being dyed uniformly blonde.[11]
Assange leaves his mother the year Hamilton-Byrne is busted. Hamilton Byrne basically enslaves a dozen kids, and pretty much GETS AWAY WITH IT! she was slapped on the wrist. None of the people that fraudulently assisted her were ever charged.
So, we have connections to psychiatric abuse, suspiciously similar to that designed to create dissociative disorder in patients (reminds me of MKULTRA), from a woman who ‘aquires’ 15 kids and dressed them up too look like aryans.
And the wikileaks founder’s mum was a member. Along with the alleged sexual deviancy related charges in sweden, this is all making more sense now.
