One might regard the pledges made to Israel and its friends in the United States by aspiring presidential candidates as pro forma and vaguely amusing, but that would be a mistake. Policy commitments, even if they are lightly entered into, are a serious matter with real-world consequences. At the moment, the obligation to Israel goes far beyond the willingness to give Tel Aviv billions of dollars in aid and unlimited political cover each year. Every Republican candidate but one has affirmed that Jerusalem is the undivided capital of a “Jewish state,” the precise formula demanded by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and each has affirmed his or her eagerness to move the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, which would end forever any chance of actual peace talks with the Palestinians and would also invite a violent reaction against Americans in many parts of the Muslim world. Michele Bachmann has even found a private “donor” willing to pay for the move. Newt Gingrich, who would shift the embassy to Jerusalem within his first two hours as president and who has also promised to name John Bolton as his secretary of state, has meanwhile discoveredthat the Palestinian people do not actually exist, which certainly solves the problem of the two-state solution or any solution at all. They were invented by hostile Arabs and are out to destroy Israel.

Mitt Romney and Gingrich might well take the prize for lack of any connection with reality with their demand that U.S. Ambassador Howard Gutman, who is Jewish, be fired for suggesting that some anti-Semitism might be the result of Israeli policies toward the Palestinians. Romney has also criticized President Barack Obama for “insulting” Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, surely one of the most interesting inversions of truth and fiction ever to occur. Not to be outdone, Rick Perry has promised to increase assistance to Israel, calling it “strategic defensive aid” that benefits the United States.

While this kind of ignorant crackpottery is unfortunately what one expects, there might be worse to come. As part of the pro-Israel package, the same presidential hopefuls have made clear their willingness to go to war with Iran on behalf of Israel even if Israel is the initiator of the conflict, while the media and the  Republican Party have together conspired to keep any contrary opinions on that issue marginalized and nearly invisible.

As Washington has demonstrated itself unwilling to negotiate with Iran over outstanding issues and has refused every attempt by the Iranians to compromise, there can be only one outcome to the game that is being played, and that is war. And the characteristically chickenhawk Republicans are ready to rock and roll based on the pseudo-information about the perfidious Persians. Gingrich again leads the charge,calling for a stepped-up program of sabotage and assassination inside Iran coupled with a covert operation to shut down the country’s main oil refinery, which will supposedly lead to “regime change.” Newt also suggested that the United States and Israel join together in “joint operations” to attack the Iranians. Perry and Rick Santorum also agree that it is time to order military strikes, while Mitt Romney is keen on indicting Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for “the crime of incitement to genocide.”

The overly ambitious and ethically challenged wannabes who pass as statesmen in today’s United States fail to appreciate that the feckless promises made in their lust for high office could produce a catastrophic result. War is serious stuff, as the past 10 years have surely taught us, and Iran, which has had seven years to prepare for an attack, is a much larger and tougher nut than Iraq and Afghanistan combined. Numerous commentators have observed how fuel prices would soar because of threats to close the Straits of Hormuz. Many in the Pentagon, including current Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta and former Secretary Robert Gates, oppose such a conflict in recognition of the fact that Tehran would have the ability to hit U.S. forces in Afghanistan, Iraq, and elsewhere. As the subsequent involvement of Hezbollah from Lebanon is a near certainty, the strike against Iran would quickly escalate into a regional war and would spin out of control.

No matter how one feels about Iran’s government and its ambitions, everyone should be taking notice of what is happening to fuel the drive to war. The drumbeat is incessant, fed by weekly warnings from leading Israeli politicians and truculent editorials and poorly informed op-eds in leading American newspapers. On Dec. 9 and 11 alone, the Washington Post ran three op-eds and a lead editorial all calling for more pressure on Iran. The op-ed by Marc Thiessen of the American Enterprise Institute accused Tehran of building a nuclear weapon that could be ready by January 2013. Thiessen also charged Iran with complicity in al-Qaeda attacks, which most observers would find ridiculous.

The American people are being told over and over again that Iran is developing a nuclear weapon, that Tehran is threatening U.S. soldiers, and that Ahmadinejad has pledged to wipe Israel off the map.Though  all those assertions can be challenged and even debunked, the case is being made that Tehran’s perceived intransigence is irreversible, and this is making war inevitable. A majority of Americans already believe that Iran has a nuclear weapon and that it poses a threat to the United States that should be dealt with, using military force if necessary.

Pushing back against the tide of conformity on the Iranian menace is Rep. Ron Paul of Texas. Paul’s crimes against the status quo consist of saying that he would eliminate all foreign aid, of which Israel is the principal beneficiary, and that he would not go to war with Iran for Israel because Israel, with its large nuclear arsenal and sophisticated military, is quite capable of making its own decisions relating to its security. Paul is also willing to talk with the Iranians instead of constantly threatening them. Those positions, which appear to be reasonable enough, arouse an almost palpable anger among some pundits. Paul was the only leading Republican excludedfrom last week’s Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) presidential debate, where many of the positions in support of Israel made by leading Republicans and related above were actually spelled out. RJC Executive Director Matthew Brooks explained that Paul was “far outside of the mainstream of the Republican Party and this organization.”

Over at Red State, “mikeymike 143″ wrapped the message of hate in vitriol, declaring that Paul was an “anti-Semite loser” and that his “followers are the dirtbags of society. Conspiracy loons, antiwar leftists, and anti-Semites. That is why the Republican Jewish Coalition banned him and his Paulbots from the presidential debate they moderated.” Eric Golub of the Washington Times ramped it up a notch more, writingthat “Ron Paul supporters are angry at his exclusion … despite Dr. Paul himself not publicly even caring. Supporters of the Klan do not get angry when they are excluded from NAACP banquets. Go on Ron Paul message boards, read the anti-Semitism, and then understand why nobody wants these miscreants anywhere near respectable events.”

Well, if that is the case, count me as a miscreant. Apparently objecting to the billions of dollars in foreign aid lavished on Israel and refusing to go to war on her behalf is enough to cast one out into the wilderness, but there is even more. Josh Block, a former spokesman for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), sent out a message on a neoconservative journalist listserv called “The Freedom Community” describing as anti-Semitic anyone who is anti-Israel or who does not agree that “Iran with a nuke is a problem.” Criticizing Israel or questioning the Iran nuclear narrative therefore makes one an anti-Semite, a conclusion that certainly simplifies thinking about the Middle East. It also makes the broader arguments being made by the friends of Israel come full circle. Any questioning of the United States’ relationship with Israel is anti-Semitism. Any change in how Washington hands out tax money that would in any way reduce aid to Israel is anti-Semitism. Any criticism of Israel’s policies with its neighbors is anti-Semitism. Any questioning of Israel’s “right” to start a regional war with Iran that will inevitably drag the United States in is also anti-Semitism. I’m sure that the picture is clear. Claims of anti-Semitism fit every situation where Israel is even peripherally involved. The slightest suggestion of anti-Semitism is the ultimate weapon, intended to end every debate and to ease the way into yet another Middle Eastern war that the United States does not need to fight, cannot afford, and from which it will likely reap the whirlwind.

Thirty years ago, Europeans were caught in a seemingly endless story of domestic terror which claimed thousands of lives over a generation – a disturbing epoche which was instrumental in bringing forth the modern domestic police state we have today. We now know that the wave of terror which swept across Europe then was run by a state-sponsored terror program called Operation G.L.A.D.I.O., organised by NATO and funded in part by the CIA.

Enter 2011, and the conditions are similar to that of post WWII Europe and also to the fall of the Iron Curtain in 1990 – where the continent is going through a tremendous social and economic transition period.

As the West presently emerges from its decade-long “war on terror” – a conflict where muslims were the protagonists, they begin to to enter into a harsh new social and economic phase featuring austerity and inequality, and a phase where frightening new ‘domestic enemies’ will be introduced onto the stage.

Already this week we have seen a series of high-profile domestic terror events:
Right-wing Italian gunman killed 2 street vendors from Senegal, wounded three others in racially-motivated attack

Belgium gun and grenade attack kills five and injures 122

Letter bombs sent by Federazione Anarchica Informale (Informal Anarchist Group) to head of Italian tax agency and the CEO of Deutche Bank in Frankfurt

One could say there is certainly a pattern emerging.

Let’s not forget that few short months ago in July 2011 saw the most talked about domestic terror event in a decade, where a 34 year-old Aryan pin-up exteremist named Anders Breivik allegedly went on a car bomb and shooting rampage that claimed the lives of 100 Young Labour activists in Norway. By its nature, the Norway shooting was no random attack. The students victims on the island were chosen for political affiliation- even the wounded were snuffed out in cold blood by the gunman(s), which clearly makes this a cold and targeted mass political assassination.

Webster G. Tarpley reported in his article “Norway Terror Attacks a False Flag,” that Norway was getting ready to call off its support for missions in Libya, and stop its involvement in that ongoing illegal war there as early as this August. Regarding GLADIO, it is highly likely that both NATO and CIA terror cells have been operational in Europe since the end of WWII, and the recent tryst over Libya and other projects could very well be influencing recent events.

GLADIO 2.0 ?.

GLADIO was designed as a clandestine NATO ”stay-behind” operation in Italy after World War II, but soon spread all over Europe. Originally, it was formed in order to continue anti-communist actions in the event of a shift to a Communist party led governments in Europe. GLADIO’s domestic terror accomplishments culminated with the spectacular and bloody Bologna Bombing in 1980, killing 85 people and injuring hundreds more. Such terrorist acts were part of NATO’s “strategy of tension” in Italy and throughout Europe.

On November 22, 1990, European Parliament passed a resolution condemning Gladio, requesting full investigations – which have yet to be done – and total dismantlement of these paramilitary structures – which has also yet to be done. Three FOIA requests were filed with GLADIO’s financial sponsor the CIA, who rejected all of them with the standard, ”The CIA can neither confirm nor deny the existence or non-existence of records responsive to your request.” Case closed.

Will all the innocent deaths, no member of NATO or the government has ever been charged over GLADIO, and the network was never officially dismantled. Because of these two important factors, it is not a major leap of logic to suspect that GLADIO 2.0 has been put in play already this year.

FALSE FLAG ATTACKS CAN INFLUENCE RIGHT-WING POLITICS.
Right-wing politics and their movements have been key in forming the current European scene. With Europeans facing a severe economic depression and possibly more wars, Europe may also be experiencing a realignment of its traditional individual right-wing affiliations and positions.

False flag terror events have been used in the past by GLADIO to redefine the left-wing vs right-wing story in Europe. There exist many different definitions of “terrorism”, most have these contain premeditated, politically motivated violence or the threat of violence, targeting civilians, being perceived as a non-state actor, all in the hopes of ”sending a message” – either over the radar, or under the radar – to the general public, influencing the national conversation. A state-sponsored false-flag event can be planned in advance, and maximum public influence can then be extracted by the tragedy. A GLADIO official had once commented about their operation stating that, “Depending on the cases, we would block or encourage far-left or far-right terrorism”.

So is Europe returning to the days when its cities and towns were being ravaged by state-sponsored terror groups like NATO’s Operation GLADIO, and the many groups it had infiltrated: The Red Brigades, IRA, Red Army Faction, Action Directe, Black September, and the PLFP? As the saying goes, ‘Out of that chaos came order’. Are we looking at a new reordering of the social and political landscape in a New Order? In the Eurozone, as in the wider world, it certainly looks that way.

Gladio has been accused of trying to influence policies through the means of “false flag” operations. In Italy during the GLADIO years,  a strategy of tension used to prevent the PCI (Italian Communist Party), and the PSI (Italian Socialist Party) from ever reaching executive power. In 2011, European Union-assigned technocrats have already usurped the sovereignty of both Greece and Italy, installing technocrats (who are also former central bankers) to implement severe austerity measures on an ever-increasingly aware and rebellious public. The social upheaval to this latest technocrat coup could be significant, and one could think of not a better time to reactivate GLADIO in Europe.

This same technique was used to full effect in the global war on terror, and now that the public has lost its ability to remain focused of the global war on terror, social engineers and military psy-warfare experts may be retraining public eyes to focus on the domestic terror threat in order to move forward quickly and efficiently with any plans for a 21st century full-blown Police State.

ANOTHER LONE GUNMAN
The Belgium attack this week was originally reported in the local press as the work of THREE, not one attacker, which was confirmed at the scene by Belgium journalist Gaspard Grosien from La Meuse Liege via Bela News Agency.
Later, the reports were streamlined across every media outlet showing only one attacker, a North African man named Nordine Amrani, apparently known to the police for previous drugs and weapons charges.
As the back story to this attack emerges, news consumers will still need to pay attention in order to read between the lines and identify discrepancies and outlandish assumptions present in the consensus reality version of events.
Similarly, Breivik’s black-op in Norway could very well have been executed by not one, but a minimum team of two to three persons. There exist eye-witness reports by survivors of multiple gunmen at the scene, later streamlined by the MSM into a lone gunman story. Readers with military experience might point out how complicated it would be to execute both a car-bomb and a mass murder such as this single-handedly.

Regardless, both these high-profile domestic terror events revolve around the classic ‘Lone Gunman’ narrative. Yet, the public are told to be ever vigilant and to report any suspicious behavior or individuals to the police. In effect, ‘Goldstein is still at large’, and may be in your area, so keep all doors and windows locked.
LOOK BACK, LOOKING AHEAD.
Readers should note that GLADIO was officially active only 20 years ago, not a long time in terms of politics and the military.
.The Italian shooting of two African immigrants and the Norway shooting talking points are a few things in common, and these ideas are already being circulated through society as we speak. Besides the obvious: We need more security + Gun ownership is dangerous, there is the baiting of traditional right-wing fear mongering at play where the experts are asking the following: Could Right-wing thinkers could be dangerous? + Has multiculturalism in Europe finally back-fired?
.As sectarian conflicts breakout in regions like Kosovo- and also in Africa and the Middle East, we may see domestic disturbances also break out in ex-pat ethnic pockets around Europe, further fueling the illusion of a Europe strangled by the fumes of domestic terror.

Ecomnonic collapse and severe austerity will most certainly bring on social upheaval and change in Europe. And the social engineers will most certainly- as they have done in the past – use state-sponsored domestic terror to guide the public through their latest social rat maze.

An educated guess: GLADIO 2.0 is in motion.

Do you suppose cows have any idea what’s coming as they’re marched down the chute? Or do they stare with bovine indifference at the tail and hind quarters in front of them, until they’re suddenly – and very briefly – startled by the man with the nail gun?
Perhaps Americans will – likewise too late – ask themselves What Happened in the very near future. Perhaps just after the midnight knock comes and they are taken away into the night.

It is not an exaggeration.

America is now on the cusp of becoming a state that does exactly such things; things exactly like the things done by 20th century horror shows such as NS Germany or Stalin’s USSR. Literally. Not “this is where it might lead” or “the tendency is similar.” Exactly, literally, the same thing. The only difference is that it awaits being done on a mass scale. But the power to do it openly – brazenly – has been asserted.

And is about to be sanctified by law.

The National Defense Authorization Act will make it official. It will confer upon the executive branch and the military (increasingly, the same things) the permanent authority to snatch and grab any person, U.S. citizens included, whom it decrees to be a “terrorist” – as defined or not by the executive or the military – and imprison them, indefinitely, without formal charge, presentation of evidence or judicial proceeding of any kind. These “detainees” will have neither civilian rights in the civil court system, nor – crucially – even the minimal rights to due process and decent treatment conferred upon prisoners of war. (And we are allegedly “at war,” are we not?)

The language of the bill specifically includes American citizens “caught” within the borders of the United States – aka, the “battlefield.” It is claimed by sponsors that only those awful them – you know, theenemies of freedom The Chimp and his successors like to reference as they systematically gut our freedoms – need worry. But read the actual document, and be afraid. The wording is such that any shyster lawyer for the government will be able to draw up a memorandum at some point in the near future equating, say, criticism of the federal government’s policies in the Middle East with “substantially supporting” the enemies of the United States. As defined by the United States.

That is, as defined by the government.
At its whim. At the personal discretion of whomever happens to be the Maximum Leader, or even one of the ML’s duly appointed minions.

As the always excellent Matt Taibbi of Rolling Stone recently observed, what happens when some nutjob who attended a few Tea Party meetings tries to bomb a federal building? Will the Tea Party itself – and anyone who “substantially supports” it be thus transformed into an “enemy combatant”? How about the OWS protestors? How about this web site – and this author – which have on several occasions called bullshit on the federal government’s usurpations and follies? How hard will it be, really, to describe such actions – such thoughtsexpressed in an article or an interview – as “substantially supporting” whatever the government decides amounts to “terrorism” or the threat thereof against itself?

Surely, the door is now wide open for such an interpretation by some John Woo or Dick Cheney waiting in the wings. Prospective jefe Newtie is practically turgid at the prospect of getting his hands on such power. And there is no longer (or soon won’t be) any legal means available to contest a one-way trip to Treblinka in Topeka – or wherever it is they will send you.

Taibbi writes:

“The really galling thing is that this act specifically envisions American citizens falling under the authority of the bill. One of its supporters, the dependably-unlikeable Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, bragged that the law ‘basically says … for the first time that the homeland is part of the battlefield’ and that people can be jailed without trial, be they ‘American citizen or not.’ New Hampshire Republican Kelly Ayotte reiterated that ‘America is part of the battlefield.’ ”

Graham further stated:

“It is not unfair to make an American citizen account for the fact that they decided to help Al Qaeda to kill us all and hold them as long as it takes to find intelligence about what may be coming next. And when they say, ‘I want my lawyer,’ you tell them, ‘Shut up. You don’t get a lawyer.’ ”

The key thing being, it is entirely up to the government to decide what constitutes “helping” al Qaeda. It can be nothing more than a vague assertion. Indeed, no evidence of any kind whatsoever is necessary to “hold them as ling as it takes” in order to “find intelligence” (not defined, either) by any means it wishes to employ.

As Taibbi notes:

“If these laws are passed, we would be forced to rely upon the discretion of a demonstrably corrupt and consistently idiotic government to not use these awful powers to strike back at legitimate domestic unrest.”

The Fuhrer (oops, President Obama) is about to sign this latter-day Enabling act and when he does, it will mark the moment that America’s coffin is nailed shut. The corpse has been on view since 9/11. But there was always some hope that, perhaps, it might be jolted back into life. Now we know the awful truth. Death is permanent.

And it’s coming for us.

CHOMSKY WRONG AGAIN
Strange causes throw together strange bedfellows with even stranger offspring. Naom Chomsky, always sure to place himself with the angriest-seeming part of the New Left crowd, has no problem ranging himself alongside the Climate Crazies despite them receiving yet another big setback, in Durban. Packing their suntan lotions and picking up their air tickets somebody else paid for, the overfed bureaucrats and overpaid lobbyists who profit from climate craziness failed in their quest to suck more subsidies and garner more public cash for their Great Cause, once again. The strange band of New Left climate radicals is breaking up, as its upstream cause fed by one-liner slogans and Rentacrowd Science fails to amuse, beguile, fool or provoke like it used to. Climate change is a big yawn.

The New Left line was easy to memorize: the global economy hurtles toward Great Recession and the earth hurtles toward Climate Catastrophe.  Both are due to neoliberal deregulation which leaves humanity no means to shape our economies towards serving human needs. This forgets that neoliberalism means Laisser Faire, which soon morphed to Nobody in the Cockpit. The cult of deregulation almost instantly morphs to no regulations at all. We get zombie economics - and especially the Zombie Banks - as a direct spinoff, something like the claimed self-amplifying feedbacks that supposedly make global warming go one-way-only but in fact do not. For the economy the zombie end result is a natural product of neoliberalism; in this case "end result" means final.

Natural regulation will take over sooner, rather than later. For the earth's climate the natural regulation is likely the cloud cover "mechanism", limiting the warming. For the zombie economy and its Zombie Banks it is a 1929-style crash followed by a 10-year deep recession. What else is new?

UNPRECEDENTED
As we know, each time she brings out a new DVD, Lady Gaga is as unprecedented as Lady Thatcher was in her 1980s heydays when she regularly turned out speechlets stuffed with cool keywords like No Future. This especially concerned old-fashioned, out-dated things like getting a job because jobs were now reserved only for Nice People who toe the party line. Anybody between 18 and 35 years old was surplus to requirements. Anybody over 55 years old was dead on arrival. The Zombie Economy had arrived. And the Brit middle classes trooped out to vote for it, rain or shine, every time. They loved it.

Not so long after, however, it was no future for Lady Thatcher who in her gaga days, called 'dotage', started opining about the terrible fate of penguins and polar bears due to runaway global warming - long before Al Gore packaged the product, made big dosh out of it but then killed the golden goose of Climate Doom simply through wild exaggeration and lying.

For the rentacrowd not-so-new left, coming to the climate crisis party took even longer than Gore, but they could not resist the honeypot because the aura of "unprecedented climate crisis" looked so attractive. This was a crisis that is affecting every nation, every locality, every worker. Its effects are already serious, they said, so unless decisive global action is taken to counter it the effects will soon be catastrophic. Neoliberal deregulation, by dismantling the means for public steering of society to meet social needs makes the climate issue even more critical and catastrophic - in fact impossible to regulate or control because no regulation and no control is what Laisser Faire means, right ?

For the left the answer is always no. By strange mental gymnastics - regular grade hypocrisy that is - the New Left can lionize the UN IPCC, adore the European Union's carbon trading system, and even admire Al Gore "because he gets the message across". Going one step further to stay controversial and high up the bookselling charts, Naom Chomsky can even cite the name of Richard Nixon as an "environment conscious" president of the USA ! Presumably Tricky Dick, if alive today, would be rooting for Low Carbon the same way that Al Gore called up a Light Coca Cola before breaking the catastrophic news, but with warmth and sincerity in his $10k fifteen-minute interviews for Leading Journals back in the good old days before Copenhagen, Cancun and Durban. Lady Gaga is almost as sincere, when it comes to getting paid.

GLOBALIZATION, DEREGULATION, CLIMATE CRISIS
The 'Bretton Woods' system of national and international regulation simply coincided with one of the greatest, perhaps the greatest period of sustained economic growth in world history. This ran from about 1948 to 1974. For countries like China and India, with a combined population nearly 3 times the total for all 30 OECD countries, the "greatest period" may be something like 1990 to 2015, we do not yet know when the Best By date will arrive. What we do know is that global economic recession will surely dent and thwart the Asian Locomotive. Its potential for meltdown grows every day.

Following the 1970s panic inside the Old Rich world triggered by the Oil Shocks, neoliberalism was the Natural Child solution, the La Nina of global policy change. Things were set out on a plate for Punk Policy: previous regulation was mostly useless, when it wasnt simply symbolic, so throw it all away. Which happened from the early 1980s.

But after a quarter-century of global policy change the cracks in the system got appallingly evident: after Punk Economics we got the Zombie Economy and nobody knew what to do. Talk of the kind recently centred on the UN FCCC, a shadowy but vast proposed system of "climate change control" which does not exist, and we can be certain will not exist, is as unreal as the 1980s and 1990s talk on the Third World's proposals for a New International Economic Order. It was never certain what this NIEO might be, but it was certain that it didnt exist. As a result, the reckless neoliberal strategy of abandoning all regulations was the permanent default solution. Ergo the Zombie Economy.

Rather clear in the proposals of the bureaucratic but "liberal" would-be Climate Regulators, who suffer from massive schizophrenia or breathtaking hypocrisy, or both, is the use of "the markets" to impose massive changes in the energy system, economic system and financial system. The extreme left, showing its now total disorientation is like a hitchhiker hippy carried along by this bulldozer disguised as a limo. When Chomsky starts praising Richard Nixon we know they are in trouble.

The key model is the International Monetary Fund. This was created after World War II to regulate currencies and prop up central banks, supposedly to ensure full employment through Keynesian monetary and fiscal policies and/or pubic ownership of leading economic enterprises. During the Trente Glorieuse of around 1948-74 this wasn't necessary. When it did become necessary in the 1980s it was first directed at the Third World: the IMF only enforced austerity plans in poorer countries the exact same way it is now enforcing austerity in richer countries, in Europe. How this IMF-type system, with liberal trappings now talked up by New Leftists would set about radically changing the global energy sytem, to protect us from climate catastrophe, is a masterpiece of delirium. There is no obvious way "the markets" will change or can change the global energy system, but the New-Old Left has to pretend it could.

FADE OUT TIME: RACE TO THE BOTTOM
IMF and WTO studies and reports, like those from the UN ILO or UNCTAD on "regulating climate change" rarely mention what actually happened in the last 20 - 25 years. The Race to the Bottom in who could deregulate first and most was the heyday of Thatcherite Neoliberalism, before the gaga dotage years with climate doom trappings. A totally unregulated economy could only be marvelous, not so ?

Taking the schizophrenia or hypocrisy up to unparalleled summits, the de-regulated masses of world bureaucrats now want to re-regulate the economy "but only to fight climate crisis". Their only possible mechanism is "the markets". The black box economy is out there, ticking over, we just put some different software in it, push the start button - and stand well back.

What we can call the Leftover Left, what was called the New Left some while back, includes credible seeming entities like the International Trade Union Confederation representing 175 million workers in 155 countries, which like other supposedly traditional left-wing power groups, including socialist political parties never fails to talk about "the dangerous and irreversible consequences of climate change." The not-so-clever trick is to say that climate change is producing irreversible damage, but setting up a new bureaucratic system of market players to turn the one arm bandits and pinwheels of the Global Finance Casino will reverse this damage - hey presto - and above all will Save The Planet.

It is possible, even probable the Leftover Left was only jealous of the media blitz that was given to climate change doomsters, in their short opportunity window of around 2006-2010. Plenty of the biggest doomster mouths belonged to long-term hopefuls who had failed in previous attempts to hit the big time, for example an insipid vice-president who was an insipid presidential candidate, and lost. Failed Gandalf Garden-type pap authors, like James Lovelock can also be added to the list. When these hungry for success players saw the green light they moved faster than cockroaches in an unguarded kitchen larder. Their voracious, desperate attempt to finally succeed with any junk theme can explain why the climate crisis circus grew so fast, sucking in the ever-declining and disappearing Old Left.

The crisis doomster theme grew fast - and collapsed fast. Due to its wild exaggeration of reality, it was doomed to exposure and failure.

During the fade-out period, to be sure, we will go on hearing claims that global warming will have catastrophic effects on the economy -- including employment -- unless "controlled markets" operate ambitious, and of course effective measures for reducing GHG [greenhouse gas] emissions. By "ambitious" they mean multi-hundred billions of freshly printed public money thrown on the casino tables; by "controlled" they mean bureaucrats running cozy market regulatory agencies when they aren't dining and supping with the market operators. What they mean by "effective" is impossible to know: if the model is European ETS (carbon bets and wagers), this is guaranteed ineffective. If they imagine that Silicon Valley-type "investing" can crank up a green energy future this is simply one more example of the perfect, seamless convergence of New Left claptrap and Neoliberal claptrap that allowed the New Left-Neoliberal climate alliance to emerge from the methane-filled swamps of failed doctrines.

THE REVENGE OF NEOLIBERALS
To be sure we have recycled and "newly relevant" survivors of the New Left who now proclaim, hand on heart that a magic thing called "the markets" will prevent the gory Gore-type climate catastrophe from happening. Seemingly on another planet, those same markets produced the ultimate economic crisis we have ever known. The so-called regulatory systems, processes or entities that exist like the IMF or WTO or the UN system and European Commission did a lot less than nothing to either anticipate or stop this economic crisis: plenty of evidence shows they intensified it.

More than 25 years of neoliberalism leaves only "the markets" as vague indicators and gauges of how much damage was done. Providing the same markets with even more ammunition in the shape of printed cash is just about 99% certain to worsen any crisis, any problem - even problems that do not exist like global warming.

As far as any one thing can be identified as what Climate Crazies want, this is a 100% Green Energy based global economy; getting it can supposedly be done using only "the markets". The chances of other and somber things happening are massive. Neoliberalism, as a doctrine can easily be interpreted as nihilist and "apres moi le deluge", well suited to its origins in the dying days of the French monarchy and the court soothsayer, called "economist", Francois Quesnay. His early version of the hands-off doctrine of Doing Nothing produced exactly what we could expect: revolution, civil war, and total economic failure.

More simply, when the global economy needs to morph away from fossil fuels, for any reason including simple depletion and Peak Oil it will do so. Throwing money on the casino tables of the late stage neoliberal-neo capitalist economy will do little or nothing to change the state of play. Even 5 years into the supposed "massive growth" of green energy investing, that is market plays, the results are clear: no serious change of the global energy sytsem is in prospect other than driven by its own causes, it own internal dynamics. The New Left-Neoliberal alliance has failed.

Every indicator of third world status is collapsing. Look at the employment chart direct from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. In 1999 things really started going to hell regarding employment. We have a 23% unemployment rate, while the media tells you it is "down to 8.6%". This is the employment to population ratio, and it is going straight down. It's going to get worse. YOU WILL SEE 40% UNEMPLOYMENT IN FIVE YEARS.    The Zionist war drums keep beating to attack Iran. We've told you repeatedly that Russia will defend Iran at any cost. Russia has many investments in Iran. Now China has publicly stated the same thing. Google, "China will not hesitate to protect Iran", and you will see how real this is. China is Iran's biggest trading partner. Our insane sanctions against Iran are a big step towards outright warfare. If/when we make the worst mistake America has ever made we will not even begin to be able to stand up to both Russia and China together. Fortunately, there are top military men who refuse to attack Iran because they know this is 100% due to the Israeli lobby, and we have no reason whatsoever to do this. Now House Bill 1905 will accelerate the road to war with more sanctions. Who introduced this bill? Jewish lesbian fugly (fat and ugly) Representative Ros-Lehtinen of Florida. What is wrong with the senile old bastards in Florida to elect representatives and senators like her and fellow Marxist Debbie Wasserman? On December 7 the Republican Jewish Coalition will host the Republican Presidential Debate. Everyone will be invited except Ron Paul. Ron will be banned. Why? Because he isn't controlled by Israel and AIPAC (American Israel Political Action Committee). Because Ron Paul doesn't want anyone to get foreign aid, and Israel gets far more aid than any other country. Because Ron Paul doesn't want anymore insane, evil wars of aggression, especially in the Mideast. Why can't he come to the debate and tell people his views? Why is he banned? Herman Cain was forced to drop out due to his various and sundry sexual pathology problems. You can believe Bachmann, Gingrich, Huntsman, Perry, Romney, and Santorum will be there. They have pledged repeatedly to support Israel at any and all costs, including putting the safety and security of Israel over that of America. Abe Foxman, director of the Anti-Defamation League, let his mouth run before his brain caught on. He said, "with the exception of Ron Paul, there is not much difference between the candidates." Very well said Abe! We have no business in the Mideast. There should be zero foreign aid to any country for any reason. All troops not on U.S. soil should be brought home, and every offshore military base closed. We are 5% of the world population, but spend 50% of the world military budget! This insanity is going to send very soon since we are bankrupt. GOVERNMENT DOESN'T WORK AND NEVER WILL WORK. a. The U.S. Postal Service was established in 1775.  They have had 234 years to get it right and are broke. b. Social Security was established in 1935.  They have had 74 years to get it right and are broke. c. Fannie Mae was established in 1938.  They have had 71 years to get it right and are broke. d. War on Poverty started in 1964.  They have had 45 years to get it right; $1 trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to "the poor" and they only want more. e. Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965.  They have had 44 years to get it right and are broke. f. Freddie Mac was established in 1970.  They have had 39 years to get it right and are broke. g. The Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil.   It has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of $24 billion a year, and we import more oil than ever before.  They had 32 years to get it right and are an abysmal failure. Whenever you give the government a dollar you get back 10 cents in third rate services and 90 cents goes down the toilet. Go to this website and watch the two short (one minute) commercials for Swiss America gold. Every TV station (including Faux News) refused these ads outright. These are as true as they are funny. More proof the government owns the media and the media is just the government propaganda machine. There is no gold in Ft. Knox. Gold and silver are the only real money. High unemployment, lack of economic opportunity, low wages, widespread poverty, extreme concentration of wealth, unsustainable government debt, control of the government by international banks and multinational corporations, weak rule of law, lack of infrastructure, counterproductive policies, poor public health, nutrition, and education are defining characteristics of 3rd world countries. All of this is happening every day in America. 100 years ago Britain "ruled the waves", and was the most powerful country on earth. Now it is just a third world backwater, where more people are on the dole than off. Socialism and big government did this. Fifty years ago Argentina was the third largest economy in the world- until they chose socialism. Now they are ranked 47th in the world. Socialism and big government did this. The Zionists and neocons have made it crystal clear they intend to attack Syria and take Assad out of power. The problem is Putin personally has promised to defend Syria from the West with the entire Russian military behind him. This is going to be a huge mistake on our part to even think of attacking Syria. This will not be like the insane act of aggression we pulled in Libya. Putin personally delivered 72 state-of-the-art Yakhont supersonic anti-ship missiles to Assad. Any warships we put over there will be vaporized. Whatever happened to Christmas folks? Why is Obama celebrating Hanukkah? The American population is only 3% Jewish, and many of them are not observant. Have you seen ONE photo of him celebrating Christmas? Send it in if you do. Why, here's another photo of Obama wearing his yarmulke. Gentiles don't wear yarmulkes. His entire cabinet is almost all zionist neocons like Axelrod. You notice we haven't bored you with any news in Europe. Anyone can see Europe is a hopeless basket case. The European Union is falling apart at the seams, every nation is totally and completely broke (including Germany, the strongest), and the Euro is a doomed currency. Don't waste your time listening to European news. Is all you need to know is that EUROPE IS DOOMED. That's all you need to know. Those morons have NEVER had freedom from the beginning of history. They get what they deserve. The trade deficit has been falling. This is great, right? NO, IT ISN'T. The only reason the trade deficit has been falling is because Americans cannot afford to buy gasoline, and most of our oil is imported. The deficit is falling because we're broke!!! We have oceans of oil on U.S. soil. We have oceans of oil in Canada and Mexico. We have oceans of natural gas. We have 1,000 years of known coal reserves. We could have $2 a gallon gasoline/jet fuel/diesel today if the government would allow SASOL plants. The Germans converted coal to fuel 70 years ago. There is no energy crisis! We have more than 1,000 years of proven energy reserves if we would just use it. We don't need one drop of imported oil. Iranian citizens are buying gold and silver, stockpiling food, and loading up on gasoline. They know the U.S. and Israel are going to attack them anytime. The world had an amazing 10 billion ounces of available silver in 1970. Now we have about a mere 700 million ounces (0.7 billion). This is a 93% collapse in supply. Silver is $29 and the best buy you are ever going to see in your lifetime. We are out of silver. The industrial use alone will use up this piddling 700 million ounces. The ever increasing investment demand has already emptied most every coin shop and mint in the world. Call one and they will take your money and promise you your silver next year. We are almost completely and totally out of silver. No, you cannot even begin to mine enough to take care of the world needs. It takes years to open a new silver mine. Silver is in almost every electric and electronic device you can name, and you cannot replace it with anything- other than gold and platinum. Silver is the best investment on earth by far. The media told you Black Friday sales were up 16% setting a "new record". Sales were dismal. Spending should have been up 10% just due to inflation, but weren't. Shoppers were window shopping not spending. Last year the media tried to deny Christmas sales were dismal. They were pitiful. This year Christmas sales will be even worse, but the media will cover that up as well. People are out of money. They are broke, deeply in debt, unemployed, and cannot get a job. They are trying to live off their credit cards, but their cards are maxed out. Unemployment benefits are just another socialist scheme to support bums and cheats. No one looks for a job while their unemployment benefits are coming in. Taxpayers are going broke funding such big government programs. There should be no unemployment benefits whatsoever. Just more government micromanagement of your life from birth to death. The Defense Authorization Act S1867 passed 93 to 7 and is now law. This means any military soldier can arrest you and put you in prison without charges for the rest of your life with no hearing, no trial, no anything. Don't believe it? Think it's too terrible to be true? Some right wing paranoia? Google "Bill 1867" and you'll see the reality. Even the ACLU is aghast at this destruction of what little was left of our Constitution and Bill of Rights. We now officially live in a totalitarian police state that makes people such as Stalin look like amateurs. Want proof Rand Paul is a pseudo-conservative phony who is not like his father Ron Paul? He promotes the National Association of Gun Rights (NAGR). This is a B.S. organization who is always begging for money and sending out Internet scare stories with no basis. The National Rifle Association is another phony group. Join the Gun Owners of America (GOA). Send them money. Promote and defend real gun rights. Real unemployment is not 8.% as the media tells you. It is 23% and getting worse by the day. This chart shows there are SIX people competing for every available job. Unemployment is going to 40% in the next five years. The government spends $1.60 for every $1.00 in tax money it steals from you. Obviously this cannot last very long, and will end in total disaster. There is no such thing as an "unpaid bill". That's ridiculous! All bills get paid all the time every time, either by the buyer or the seller. The American taxpayer will pay this bill in the form of the worst depression the world has ever seen. There is no other alternative. The real National Debt is really 10 times worse than this chart! Wow! Here's a great chart! The National Debt was almost non-existent 70 years ago. Of course, there should never be one penny of national debt at any time for any reason. By 1975 you can see this took off, and is now completely and totally out of control. There is no possible way on earth to repay this debt other than a full scale depression. The problem is the unfunded National Debt is not a mere $14 trillion at all. That would be payable. The Gross National Product is about the same- $14 trillion. That could be paid off in 10 years by simply cutting government and military 10%. The real National Debt is more than ten times this much...well over $140 trillion. This includes Social Insecurity, Medicaid, Medicare, food stamps, welfare, and the insane military expenditures. Do you know what $140 trillion comes to per citizen (including babies)? About a half million dollars each for 300 million Americans. How many people do you know that have a half million dollars to give the government? This could be your next Vice President. In fact, she could be your next President. She did her best to be either on in 2008, but failed. She clawed her way to U.S. Senator, and then Secretary of State. She was co-president for eight years when Bill was President. She had a major face lift, and should look 54 (she's 64), but looks more like 74. Imagine if she weren't covered with makeup in this photo. She is dying of cancer. We've been telling you this for two years now. She is morbidly obese, has elephantitis legs, is under horrible stress 24/7, and suffers from many serious health conditions she won't reveal. Joe Biden is unpopular, and not a shoe-in for vice president. If Hillary becomes Vice President she'll definitely have Obama killed so she can realize her Grand Narcissistic Dream. No, that is not a joke. This chart shows how to Dow to gold ratio is falling and falling and falling. It will keep falling. The Dow will fall and gold will go up. The Dow to silver ratio is much more impressive, but no chart for that is available right this hot second. Yup, gun control is just wonderful if you are the one who controls the guns. Be sure you are well armed and have lots of ammunition. Load up on every possible thing you use and need everyday. We'll see you in January.
