PROFESSOR LINKS ISRAEL TO NORWAY TERROR ATTACKS

Swedish-born Ola Tunander is a professor at the Peace Research Institute Oslo.

Ola Tunander has written an article suggesting that Israel played a part in the 22 July 2011 massacre in Norway.

Nytt Norsk Tidsskrift, an academic journal, published the article.

In the article, Tunander writes that such terrorist acts are usually carried out by government agents, "and we can't rule out that being the case this time too."

Tunander details the diplomatic relationship between Norway and Israel in the months before the massacre.

Norway indicated it would be willing to recognize a Palestinian state.

Tunander notes the significance of the date of the attacks.

He mentions 22 July 1973, when Mossad spies were arrested after an operation in which they assassinated the wrong person on Norwegian soil.

He mentions the bombing of the King David Hotel in Jerusalem by the Zionist terrorist group Irgun.

The King David Hotel attack took place on 22 July 1946.


Tunander writes: "We have discussed the right-wing extremist Israeli and Judeo-Christian side of Breivik's network, Israel's interest in disciplining Norway, and Israel's celebration of bomb attacks.

"In this respect, Breivik’s attack appears to resemble a new king David Hotel attack: July 22nd."
Norwegian writer Øyvind Strømmen, writing in Minerva, says of Tunander: "Does he insinuate that Israel was behind July 22nd, or was in some way involved? The answer.... is yes."

Israeli Group Claims Responsibility for Iraqi Bombings – Sort Of

SITE Intelligence, Reputed Mossad Operation Claims to Credit Al Qaeda for Iraq Bombings

Mossad Bombings in Iraq Wrongly Credited to Al Qaeda

The recent round of bombings in Iraq, according to an Israeli source credited with endless false reports, phony bin Laden tapes and videos and numerous other obfuscations yesterday claimed Al Qaeda was responsible for the recent bombings in Iraq.

The organization run by the daughter of a convicted Israeli spy was the only source, no intelligence organization in the world found the website SITE claimed it found.  This is always the case.  Site Intelligence always finds the story Israel or American neocons need, exactly when they need it, always “too good to be true” and, thusly, not true at all.

This is another of those cases, part of a long history of disinformation paid for by the FBI and DOD, the fictional subtext for the war on terror, the needed blame for the Taliban or Al Qaeda even when there were no facts to be found.

There are a few problems with the story.

US counter-intelligence sources in Baghdad indicate there are no Al Qaeda forces in Iraq and, if there were, there would be no reason for them to randomly attack “everyone at the same time.”

On the other hand, Israel has recently moved troops and aircraft into Kurdistan without government approval and is the only possible “player” to benefit from a civil war in Iraq.

Knowledgeable sources have, for years, credited Israel with church and mosque bombings throughout Iraq, attacks on American forces and even video-sniper attacks found, as is always the case, by only SITE Intelligence and not the 16 American intelligence agencies with their tens of thousands of employees, their dozens of satellites and their armies of Arabic speaking operatives that scan the internet day and night.

An Israeli company with 2 employees has, 100% of the time, found the “Al Qaeda” announcements and the carefully time “bin Laden” threats.  From an earlier article commenting on inconsistencies in SITE reporting:

A further abuse, of course, is not only that we are no longer seeing the easily debunked bin Laden doubles whose video tapes were “mysteriously” released by SITE Intelligence, the Rita Katz/Israeli group that seems to find them in trash bins behind delicatessens. The “new” audio tape itself contains statements claiming credit for 9/11 in direct contradiction to the real bin Laden videos, the only ones authenticated.

If you wondered why the FBI doesn’t list Osama bin Laden as a suspect in 9/11, I think you have your answer. If they think the bin Laden “admissions” aren’t credible, I wonder who the FBI is investigating or if they have simply been told to mind their own business.

The terrorist incident itself is the last thing Al Qaeda would ever take responsibility for despite the claims by SITE Intelligence that they found an unnamed and unverified internet site that confirmed this.

Who in the name of all that is holy would want to take responsibility for an idiot who was led onto an American bound plane by passing around searches, customs and passport control in an airport run by an Israeli security company but who carried a “bomb” designed by a three year old.

Bombings such as those in Alexandria, across Pakistan, Iran and Iraq and now Nigeria are signature Mossad “false flag” terror operations.  The rationale is either to start civil war or sell security equipment to the victims.

In every single case, only Israel benefits, no other party.  In fact, whenever SITE Intelligence is tied to reporting a terror incident, it is not unreasonable to assume that Israeli groups are responsible.

Marketing Phony Terrorism

In every single case, only SITE Intelligence is the source of the finger pointing away from Israel.

Tapes and videos submitted by SITE have long been debunked as falsified and counterfeit.  Al Qaeda statements are all assumed to be the same, mythology written in Tel Aviv to cover their operation in Kurdistan and with the PKK in Turkey, taking advantage of the US withdrawal from Iraq.

Sources indicate that Israel already has drones in Kurdistan, put their without the permission of the Iraq government, has moved troops into Kurdistan as part of an occupying force and is operating against Iran from positions in Iraq.

Recent sightings of “non Arabic speaking” troops moving through Jordan recently are now believed to have been Israeli units moving off the Golan Heights in generic military attire.

More bombings are expected in Iraq as are attacks on American facilities inside the Green Zone.  It is expected that SITE Intelligence will, of all the sources in the world, learn that it is “Al Qaeda” that is responsible.

Israeli forces have been active in the Mosul region for years, supporting PKK terrorist cells in Turkey and in orchestrating tensions between the Chaldean Christian community and local Muslims.

Israel considers Kurdistan part of “Greater Israel” and Likudist leaders have indicated a desire to annex Kurdistan.  The more formalized occupation of portions of Kurdistan by uniformed IDF personnel is a significant increase in visibility.

It is also a direct challenge to the government in Baghdad and is likely to exacerbate sectarian violence between Shiites and Sunnis.

The Tide Is Turning Against SOPA … And We Might Actually Succeed In Stopping It

While a short week ago the Internet censorship bill - SOPA - looked certain to pass, the tide appears to be quickly turning.

Politico notes today:

The conservative and liberal blogospheres are unifying behind opposition to Congress’s Stop Online Piracy Act, with right-leaning bloggers arguing their very existence could be wiped out if the anti-piracy bill passes.

“If either the U.S. Senate’s Protect IP Act (PIPA) & the U.S. House’s Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) become law, political blogs such as Red Mass Group [conservative] & Blue Mass Group [liberal] will cease to exist,” wrote a blogger at Red Mass Group.

“Some good news on the SOPA front: Its corporate base of supporters is starting to crumble,” David Dayden wrote at Firedoglake. “GoDaddy is not alone. Scores of law firms are requesting their names be removed from the Judiciary Committee’s official list of SOPA supporters.”

In the blogosphere, the trajectory of the bill seemed set — that it is destined for failure if the pressure of the online community is kept up.

“The dynamic is clear. Once SOPA — and its Senate counterpart, Protecting IP Act, or PIPA — became high-profile among the Internet community, the lazy endorsements from companies and various hangers-on became toxic. And now, those supporters are scrambling, hollowing out the actual support for the bill. Suddenly, a bill with ‘widespread’ corporate support doesn’t have much support at all,” Dayden said.

Conservatives took a slightly different tact, though with similar disdain for the anti-piracy measures.

Indeed, blogger Erick Erickson said that he would encourage a primary for any Republican who supports the bill.

“I love Marsha Blackburn. She is a delightful lady and a solidly conservative member of Congress. And I am pledging right now that I will do everything in my power to defeat her in her 2012 reelection bid” due to her co-sponsorship for SOPA, Erickson wrote at RedState. “Congress has proven it does not understand the Internet. Perhaps they will understand brute strength against them at the ballot box. If members of Congress do not pull their name from co-sponsorship of SOPA, the left and right should pledge to defeat each and every one of them.”

Digital Journal reports:

The legislation, which many are suggesting is nothing less than censorship of Internet content and an assault on free speech, has brought many disparate groups together for the first time, such as ... the Heritage Foundation and Beregrond, a Libertarian website.

Several Washington D.C. law firms and lobbying groups were added to a list of corporate supporters by mistake and those who were willing to speak on the record were decidedly unhappy with the House Judiciary Committee. “It’s just incorrect. The firm has no position on SOPA,” Davis Wright Tremaine LLP spokesman Mark Usellis stated to Politico.

Even the White House is looking toward opposing the bill, with a petition on the White House website to veto the bill if passed by Congress. The petition needed 25,000 signatures and so far it has 43,351.

Time to redouble our efforts ... the tide may be turning, and we have a chance of winning.

Europe Rumbles Continue Beneath More Upbeat Headlines - Ever since last week’s liquidity operation, most headlines out of Europe have leaned toward the reassuring side. Beneath those headlines, however, there are signs the strains remain and may, in fact, be growing.

European banks are making great use of the ECB’s overnight deposit facility. Last night they parked $590 billion at the ECB breaking the record they had set the night before. They are clearly unwilling to lend to other European banks, highlighting the distrust and fear in the interbank marketplace. While the ECB’s lending initiative calmed the markets somewhat, it apparently has done nothing to free up the logjam blocking interbank lending.

The distrust on the streets is said to be growing also. Barroom gossip says that safe-deposit boxes are in a demand that borders on frenzy. They allow you to take your Euros and covert them into something of value (gold, Swiss Francs, etc.) and sock it away in a safe place.

Others are said to be buying property in London and elsewhere lest you awake one day and discover that your Euros have reverted to drachmas or lira.

Savvy bankers are said to be setting up personal and communal trusts domiciled in places like the Bahamas, the Caymans or the Isle of Jersey. Some banks are offering depository accounts denominated (and repayable) in alternate currencies like the dollar or the yen.

We think a Lehman-like event would most likely be triggered by a run on a bank or a series of banks. The scramble for currency (value) protection among the public could turn into that bank run in the same way that a crowd can instantly turn into a mob. Watch the money flows out of Greece and Italy very carefully. The pot continues to bubble

Armstrong discusses financial border controls, heavy doses of history pertinent to our current crisis, and describes that while the final outcome of our current debt crisis is likely to be hyperinflationary, the deleveraging of the housing market is resulting in deflation currently. 

We are suffering the simultaneous effects of DEFLATION and INFLATION, which can be called STAGFLATION. In other words,there will be no hyperinflation at this stage in the game and the increase in currency by the Federal Reserve using the “elastic money supply” tool, will not even be inflationary despite creating nearly $3 trillion.

If we look at the peak in debt in 2007 in the United States, only one slice of the real money supply, the general leverage stood at nearly $60 trillion, This is based upon Federal Reserve data. If we now factor in the deleveraging of 60% we get a figure of $24 trillion. Of course, this is well below official estimates because they are not marking to market all debt. This would be at the most extreme nadir. Nonetheless, if the Fed increases the money supply by $2.3 trillion through its elastic capability, we can see this is like pissing in the wind – consquently QE1 and QE2 produced no inflation even if the deleveraging was only 25% say $15 trillion off the top rather than 60%.
Despite all of these trends, and the ultimate conclusion being inflation, in the near-term we remain in a deflationary environment with a massive deleveraging of the economy that cannot be reversed even with $3 trillion of new elastic money by the Federal Reserve. The collapse of Europe becomes inevitable for there also government will not address the structural flaws and will only increase its oppression against the people as if taking every euro will somehow reverse 60 years of fiscal mismanagement. The dollar may rise sharply thanks to deflation, and we may see the worst of every possible trend before this nightmare comes to an end.

Occasionally, when we’ve had too much to drink, we lull ourselves to sleep with the notion that someone like Ron Paul might succeed. Maybe America won’t become a police state after all. Maybe it will abandon its empire and its imperial death-wish before it’s too late. Maybe it will cut its budget and save the dollar.

Maybe the zombies can be brought under control before the nation is ruined by them…

Then, we sober up. And make sure our passport is up to date.

You’ve seen our theories…

The insiders who run the government will take as much as they can get away with.

Gradually, more and more people become insiders.

And gradually fewer and fewer people are still adding real value to the economy.

The zombies multiply. They vote. The system is “locked in” to disaster.

Eventually, war…revolution…or a bankruptcy stop them. The old systems blow up. The incompetent, the corrupt and the zombified are swept aside.

A Dear Reader wrote to tell us what we had guessed for ourselves. The insiders are behind the latest outrage — the defense authorization bill that allows the feds to put anyone in jail and hold them there forever, without trial.

You probably won’t read, more than once, this news: A lobbyist for passage of the NDAA [formerly S. 1867] works for a company that got a juicy Defense Department contract.

For some reason, you probably never knew that former Homeland Security chief Michael Chertoff lobbied to have Homeland Security’s Transportation Safety Agency [TSA] install the hated nude-body scanners in US airports. Chertoff, a dual US-Israeli citizen, works for the company that manufactures these nude-body scanners.

As to the lucky company in the current news, Surefire, is it a US company? Where does this company manufacture its night raid equipment?

With help from industry lobbyists, the laws to implement a police state are in place. An incident of some kind will precipitate their bloody use:

According to reports from the Daily Kos and Russia Today, a company specializing in night raid equipment was awarded a 23 million dollar contract from the Department of Defense and subsequently went on to lobby for the NDAA which has given the government the power to indefinitely detain American citizens.

Surefire LLC openly lobbied for the House version of the NDAA, a bill many have claimed has effectively ended the Bill of Rights, months after receiving the 23 million dollar contact from the DOD.

Why would this company be receiving a contract which could outfit at least 30,000 troops with new and updated night raid equipment when the US is supposedly pulling troops out of Iraq and, to a smaller extent, Afghanistan?

Why has this same company gone on to lobby for a bill that has turned the United States into a war zone?

So what does Surefire make? In a word, night-raid equipment, with a fresh new $23 million contract from the DoD even as we saw troops pulling out of Iraq and they are about to pull out of Afghanistan.

The product catalog main categories read things like “weapon lights, helmet lights, sound suppressors, high capacity magazines.” The equipment is relatively cheap, not big ticket items in Defense Department terms. That means this is a big contract. A $23 million contract would buy enough of these things to outfit maybe 50,000 soldiers.

If we are pulling out of Iraq and Afghanistan, what is all this stuff for? Night-raid gear? These are basically made to blind people as they awake from you busting down their door, not for open combat.

In a night firefight you don’t want any lights near you whatsoever. That gives the other guy an easy target.

Let’s see, if you’re going to get rid of the Bill of Rights, you might as well get rid of the First Amendment as well as the rest of them. Don’t worry; the feds are on the case. Another proposed law — SOPA — would give the feds the power to shut down websites that they don’t like.

Yes, dear reader, it is all coming together…

Perpetual war overseas. Police state at home. Spend…spend…spend to support the zombies.

And when you run out of money? You print some more!

Industries that used to provide value for money are corrupted. Each makes a deal with devil government. The education industry hasn’t produced any real gains in 40 years — despite a massive “investment” of public and private funds. The health care industry gets no better results — measured by life expectancy — than Cuba, even though it spends 45 times more per person. The defense industry — with its related empire spending — now costs the nation about 7% of GDP, and probably makes the country much less safe than countries that spend a small fraction of that amount. Taken together, with the rest of government spending added in, and more than half the economy is now zombified — producing little or nothing of value. And more than half the voters, too, are now dependent on the feds.

And now the bankers have made their devil deal too.

There was a time when banks were honest businesses. Bankers took deposits and made loans. The banker himself was responsible for the losses. If the bank went down, so did he. More than one banker, ruined by losses, blew his brains out rather than face the embarrassment of his own mistakes.

Now banks are shielded from the harsh light of legal liability by corporate veils and federal umbrellas. They can still make money — more than ever. But now they are no longer working in the private sector, providing a service, making profits and always threatened the risk of fatal losses. Now they are practically public utilities — like Amtrak or the Post Office.

Here’s the deal: the feds keep the incompetent bankers in business…and the bankers help the feds borrow money.

That is the message of the European bank bailout last week. Banks are no longer private sector enterprises. They provide a public service. In return, they are protected from their own gross errors.

What public service?

The Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi recently noticed that it now owns more government debt than private loans and corporate bonds. It is no longer a private enterprise; it made its pact with the feds. It takes bailout money; and it helps fund the government’s deficits.

But given all that has gone on over the last 5 years, you have to wonder whether bankers are clever enough to figure it out. So, French President Nicholas Sarkozy spelled it out for them: the ECB would give them 489 billion euros (and call it a loan); they should use the money to buy government bonds (and call it an investment).

This cozy arrangement suits the bankers. They make profits without taking real risks. Besides, how hard is it to borrow from the ECB at 1% interest and re-lend to European sovereign nations at 6%? Even a banker could make money under those circumstances.

But now we have another major industry — one that was responsible for 40% of all US corporate profits in the mid-’00s — that sups with the devil. And now major capital allocation decisions — involving billions or even trillions of dollars — are no longer made by independent, profit-seeking investors. Instead, they are made by favor-seeking zombies.

Who can guess where the zombies will place their money? Into risky, visionary new businesses which, if successful, will create new jobs and help power a renaissance of real output? Or, into more zombie projects?

And poor Ron Paul. Last week he was leading the Republican pack in Iowa polls. The zombies were petrified. They attacked in waves. Some said he was a ‘racist’ — referring to fears of a ‘race war’ attributed to him in 1993. Others said he was anti-gay… Ron Paul represents no real threat to blacks or gays…

But the outrageous slings and arrows that did the most damage were those that attacked his support for America’s military empire. Here’s The Wall Street Journal:

It seemed improbable that the best-known American propagandist for our enemies could be near the top of the pack in the Iowa contest, but there it is. Ron Paul’s supporters are sure of one thing: Their candidate has always been consistent — a point Dr. Paul himself has been making with increasing frequency. It’s a thought that comes up with a certain inevitability now in those roundtables on the Republican field. One cable commentator genially instructed us last Friday, “You have to give Paul credit for sticking to his beliefs.” He was speaking, it’s hardly necessary to say, of a man who holds some noteworthy views in a candidate for the presidency of the United States. One who is the best-known of our homegrown propagandists for our chief enemies in the world. One who has made himself a leading spokesman for, and recycler of, the long and familiar litany of charges that point to the United States as a leading agent of evil and injustice, the militarist victimizer of millions who want only to live in peace.
